Methodology

One of the major methods of non-traditional medicine is a medical massage. This type of massage demands special treat for each disease and patient. In the process  of treatment it is necessary to consider the sequence of massaging different parts  of the body, the technique of application, and moderation: rhythm, tact, the power of pressing on the given muscle, the used ointments etc.

The massage is also implemented with special wooden  tools, needles, vibration equipment, devices creating  magnetic field. For treatment purposes special applicator Lyapko  made of 5 different metals is used,  and also ultraviolet irradication.

During the treatment is implemented acupressing massage. On biologically active spots the work is applied mainly by the fingertips, sometimes metal needles are used on important spots (acupuncture), wormwood cigarettes, and cones. The major work is directed along 12 even and 2 odd (frontal and back) meridian rows.

This is the reason why the minimal period is 12 sessions that is 4 weeks.

For osteochondrosis and radikulitis it is good to apply china cupping-glasses, which have vacuum acupressing and magnetic effect on the body. Affecting the reflex centers the cupping-glasses leave color spots on the skin, which give a certain information about the patient’s condition.

For instance, if trace is black and dark violet it means that the patient has problems with blood circulation and abnormal flow, the presence of pustules shows moist heart and antigene poisons in the body, dark purple is the evidence of high level cholestirine in the blood, etc.

During the treatment combined massage is also used, that is a pair of male hands and a pair of female hands, so 4 or 8 hands work on each patient half “in” and  half “jan” the latter from the point of view of energetic medicine is  useful and harmonious (combined massage was constantly used by Egyptian empress Cleopatra in 1 BC, the sessions were accompanied by various aroma oils).

In the process of treatment the patients receive aromatherapy, the oils  have never been thermally refined. The choice of oils is connected with the patient’s problems, for instance, in the case of chronic headaches lemon oil is used, for colds-rosemary, for pain relief – mint, for nervous breakdown-sage, for male potential weakness ilang – ilang, for fears, stresses, and depressions – jasmine etc.

During the whole process of treatment the patient takes herb tincture  2-3 times a day. The herbs are chosen in accordance with the patient’s disease, and have features of healing and strengthening the immune system.

Rice therapy is also one of the applied methods of treatment which relieves the body from wastes and salts. For preventing hypodinamy  we teach our clients physical and breathing exercises and oblige them to do it constantly.

During the sessions when patient’s muscles and ligaments are ready for deeper activity, we apply manual means.

Manual therapy (from. Latin “manus” – hand) is a whole system of manipulations directed for cancelling pathological changes in muscles and joints. It is especially valuable for the reason that it enables numerous health problems to be solved when medicine can’t cure them.

Manual  therapy methods can cure pains in the back, intraspinal hernia, spine ostheochondrosis, radiculitis, different types of bearing shifts, headaches, giddiness, pains in the chest, scoliosis and flat foot.

Nowadays, the manual therapy is one of the most vital methods of ostheochondrosis cure.

Ostheochondrosis is a disease connected with degenerative dystrophy of joint cartilage and subjective bones. Such changes can occur in any part of the body where the bones are linked to the cartilage. Ostheochondrosis also refers to intraspinal discs which keep the spine in fixed position and act as an absorber.

A disc consists of strong, fibrous ring, filled with the thick liquid, in the centre of which is placed ball-shaped core. The Discs constantly work under pressure. For instance, after the night’s sleep the height of a person increases by 2-4 cm, this gradually comes to its initial height during the day due to the vertical position.

The discs coordinate this pressure due to their cores and elastic chords.

Every time the core gets the pressure, it spreads and presses the walls of fibrous ring, which in its turn keeps the balance of the pressure, preserving intraspinal chords and back muscles tonus.

The balance disturbance of this process results in appearance of ostheochondrosis. When the balance is broken the fibrous ring gets injured and even tears and as a result the thick liquid pours out, and the corejumps out from the tear place, causing the hermine of intraspinal disc. The consеquеnce of this and other phenomena leads to contraction of nerve endings. The nerve is injured and sored bringing up radiculitis. The most widely spread is lumbago. As the whole weight of the upper part of the body falls on the lumber vertebrae, when especially doing different sharp movements and lifting weights.

Lumbago is not only a pain in the back, it is also a complaint of the body to the “master”. It affects the life style and prevents the man from psychophysical activity which goes beyond the body’s possibility. Lumbago is sometimes considered a drivers’ disease, not because the drivers work the whole day in a sitting position, but because they are not able to empty the bladder. Lumbago is a chain of carriages connected with a train of cystitis. It results in collapse of the immune system.

We treat such complicated spine diseases as scoliosis,  kyphosis and lordosis, the process of treatment of which and the method choice  depends on the degree of the distortion of the spine, the length of the disease and complications.

Scoliosis is the distortion of S or C shaped spine of frontal surface, which causes the twisting(torsio) of vertebrae  round its axis. Scoliosis is not only distortion of spine, but also a serious illness of growing body with certain symptoms which are revealed involving osseous, nerve, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Morph biochemical researches prove that in the basis of their origin is the defect processes connected with metabolism in the tissues. In cases of side distortions the muscles and chords at the hollow part of the spine weaken and  at the arch side- exert. Such changes assist to reflexive contraction of adjacent muscles (contracture) which is constant and leads to further constructive degeneration of the spine.

Kyphosis is an obvious inclination forward of the chest part of the spine which results in the stoop. Lordosis is an obvious inclination backward of the lumbar part of the spine.

The above mentioned diseases can have genitive origin or originate from the habit of taking wrong poses, wrong carriage, from infectious diseases, from osteoporosis or from different defects connected with motor system.
